Connecting to the “YES!”

Way too many people in Network Marketing are still saying, “No one has any money!” or “No one is interested in buying!” or “No one can afford it!” But before you decide if those statements are right or wrong, watch this video and then decide if those commonly held beliefs are as true as often as we think.

For example, while I was walking around a well-known and very crowded shopping mall the other day, I noticed literally thousands of people—many with shopping bags in their hands. So if the people all around me are buying other things, why are so many of us still hearing the price objection over, and over, and over again?

Could it be because all those people simply didn’t see the value or benefit for themselves?

Think about it… The personal value and benefit of whatever you’re offering must be clearly understood before anything happens. Remember, people are being bombarded with way too many “Buy me!” messages every single day. So why should they want to do business with you? Because you can solve a problem in their life!

Take the time to get to know them and find out what lights them up! Find out what they’re looking for. Find out what problems they’re looking to solve. Because if you can connect their head with their heart—your business to what they want most in their life—you will see people go from “I can’t afford it!” to “I will do whatever it takes to find the money to get it!” In essence, shift them from buying your product or service (in their mind—costing them money) to joining your business (in their mind—making them money).  Trust me, it’s a small, but oftentimes a HUGE, business-transforming shift in their mindset.

    Great article! Sometimes it takes constant repetition to develop the skill of connecting a head and a heart. If you give up after 10 tries or 100 tries, you never even gave it a chance… Like a baseball player who gives up after 10 tries at a homerun. Leverage the skills and experience of your leadership…they know what to do.
